Nerthus Challenge (Five Plants)

The new Nerthus Challenge is to simply find five edible plants your area or the area where you go hunting/camping. It is important to be able to correctly identify and know how to eat different plants in your area. Note: never eat plants that are found in cities, suburbs, or near roads. This is due to the toxins found in plant life in these areas. But it is a good idea to have a solid idea of plants you can safely eat if you are ever lost in the woods you tend to frequent.

As always stay safe and find someone that knows what they are doing when it comes to wild edibles. I have taken different classes from "Four Winds Ancestral Skills" and I can recommend them for personal wilderness survival training. I will put two links to their web and Facebook page below.
