Ritual Work for Germanic Paganism

modernamericansham

The following is a simple list to refer to and think about when preparing and working your Germanic Pagan rituals.

·  In ritual practice it is best to know exactly what you are doing and have your intent focused on what you are doing the ritual for. This makes for a more effective outcome of one’s work.

·   Never forget, there is power in silence.

·   The dark is sacred and so is the light. They form a balance that should be respected and explored. To focus only on one is to be out of balance.

·   Ground Hearth – ritual fire pit. The fire and the location of the fire are sacred.

·   Don’t forget to make offerings to the fire after the campfire is extinguished.

·   Night is held as sacred, and many rituals are performed after the sun has set.

·   Night is a sacred friend to be embraced and respected.
