Traditional German Hex Bottles

Hex Bottles:
· Items needed:
A simple jar with a lid.
Almost any type of glass jar can be used.
Masion jar of any size.
Baby food jar.
Pickle jar.
Beer bottle that has a lid.
For hex bottles you do not need a new jar.
How to make:
Start with a clean jar.
Fill the jar up with whatever contents you want to put in it for the outcome you would like.
Dried kidney beans for prosperity and good fortune.
Scraps of thread or yarn to stop negative energy.
Buttons for domestic abundance.
Etc.
Put the lid on the jar.
You can simply make one jar or as many as you would like.
Hide the jar in your home where it will not be disturbed.
Note on buttons: (Remember, you cannot ask yes or no questions when using the runes.)
Buttons are used for simple and quick divination.
You ask a yes or no question.
Reach into the tin or jar that you keep your buttons and pull a hand full of buttons out.
Count them.
An odd number is a yes answer.
An even number is a no answer.
Acorn – protection and male fertility.
Amber – protects from disease and psychic attacks.
Balsam Fir – protects against negative energies and for strength.
Birch Tree – protection and a safe delivery.
Buckeye – attracts money and brings good luck.
Calendula – dry petals in the jar for good luck in all legal matters.
Cumin and Curry Powder – drive away ghosts.
Dandelion Root – Increases psychic abilities and helps communicate with the dead.
Garlic – protection and health.
Hawthorn – Monetary success.
